This is a divorce action. At trial defendant sought a share of the value of the plaintiff’s medical degree and her reasonable attorney fees and costs. The trial court denied both requests. Defendant appeals and we modify the judgment.

Plaintiff and defendant are 36 and 33 years old respectively. They were married September 6, 1969, in Ames, Iowa. Plaintiff filed his complaint on August 6, 1981. The parties ceased living together on December 15, 1981.
