Appeal by the defendant, the Nassau Show Case Company, from a judgment of the Municipal Court of the city of New York, borough of Brooklyn, second district, in favor of the plaintiff rendered on the 23d day of June, 1899.

Per Curiam :

The complaint alleges that the defendant is a domestic corporation organized under the laws of the State of New York. It does not show where the principal' business office of the corporation is located or where its general business is carried on. Hence the residence of the corporation, in a legal sense, cannot be determined by reference to the complaint; nor does any other part of the record before us throw any light on that subject.
