MEMORANDUM ORDER

This matter is before the Court on the complaint to determine dischargeability of debt pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 523(a)(5) that was filed by Kay Madden, who was appointed by the Circuit Court of Jackson County on or about March 30, 1995, as guardian ad litem for the minor child of the debtor, Craig Staggs, and his ex-spouse, Rachel Deann Malloy, during a post-dissolution custody proceeding. Madden requests that the debt in the amount of $2107.00 owed to her by Craig Staggs for guardian ad litem fees be held nondischargeable. For the following reasons,…
