— In a medical malpractice action to recover damages for personal injuries, etc., the defendant Staro appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County (Jones, J.), dated February 17, 1987, which granted the plaintiff’s motion to vacate so much of a prior order of the same court, dated November 13, 1986, as dismissed the complaint as against Staro entered upon the plaintiffs’ default in opposing a cross motion by Staro for summary judgment.

Ordered that the order is reversed, on the law, without costs or disbursements, and the motion is denied.
