The Epso Products Company, a corporation, was engaged generally in the canning business, operating in the vicinity of Tonasket, Washington. Prior to October 8, 1925, the company, through its proper officers, made arrangements to purchase from the appellant a certain piece of machinery known as a filter. This was to be what is generally known to the trade as a cash transaction, and on October 8, 1925, the Epso Products Company purchased and caused to be sent to G-. M. Kohler a draft on the Dex ter Horton National Bank of Seattle, in words and figures as follows:
