MEMORANDUM OF DECISION

This case came on for trial on November 27, 2000, of the issues raised in the United States trustee’s motion to dismiss the debtor’s Chapter 7 bankruptcy case (Document No. 6). In the motion, the United States trustee asserts that the bankruptcy filing is a substantial abuse of the Bankruptcy Code because the debts to be discharged are primarily consumer debts and because the debtor has the present and future ability to pay creditors.
