Forrest Spieler, a boy about five years old, was injured by one of the defendant’s street cars so that he *340lost his foot and ankle by amputation. His father broughl this action in the district court for Lancaster county to - recover damages in behalf of the boy. The petition alleged negligence on the part of the defendant in several particulars.
