This application is brought by the petitioner for an order cancelling, revoking and nullifying the motions and resolutions of the board of trustees of the Village of Patchogue, made on or about March 23, 1951, insofar as same attempted to declare the petitioner ineligible for the office of trustee of the Village of Patchogue, and insofar as such motions and resolutions declared the respondent, Mapes, elected to the said office, and restraining the board of trustees of the Village of Patchogue from taking' any further action in relation to the election held in the village of Patchogue on March…
