JANVIER, Judge.

Plaintiff seeks recovery' for physical injuries and for shame and humiliation alleged to have been sustained by him as the result of unprovoked assault, malicious prosecution, and false imprisonment, all of which he charges were committed by a house detective, or watchman, in the employ of the owners or operators of the Monteleone Hotel in this city.
