Plaintiff in error was charged in an information in the municipal court of Chicago with unlawfully carrying concealed on his person a loaded revolver without having a written license therefor, in violation of section 4 of the act of 1919 entitled “An act to revise the law in relation to deadly weapons.” (Laws of 1919, p. 431.) He signed a jury waiver and consent that, the case be heard by the court. After a hearing he was adjudged guilty and sentenced to confinement four months in the house of correction and fined $100 and costs. This writ of error was sued out of this court to review the…
