MANFORD, Presiding Judge.

This appeal follows the entry of a circuit court judgment which reversed a decision of the Missouri Personnel Advisory Board. The judgment is affirmed.1

A sole point is presented which, in summary, charges the Missouri Personnel Advisory Board erred in upholding appellant’s dismissal because the letter of dismissal, required by § 36.380, RSMo 1978, failed to sufficiently set forth the reason of said dismissal which in turn denied appellant *418the opportunity to prepare a defense and allow him to meet the issues on appeal of that decision.
