This summary judgment appeal involves an employer’s liability for a tragic vehicular accident involving one of its employees. At the time of the accident, the employee had left work and was driving a personal vehicle that he borrowed from a co-worker. The representatives of the decedent-occupants of the other vehicle sued the employer, alleging negligence, negligent hiring, and negligent entrustment.
