OPINION BY

TAMILIA, J.:

¶ 1 Omar McDonald appeals the March 2, 2004 judgment of sentence of six to *859twelve months incarceration followed by three years probation imposed following a bench trial in which he was convicted of carrying a firearm without a license,1 and possession of a small amount of marijuana.2
