Robert Darrell Burden, Jr., appellant herein, was, after indictment, tried and found guilty by a jury of a violation of 21 U.S.C.A. § 841(a)(1) — possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. This is a direct appeal from the judgment of conviction.

On September 21, 1973, the appellant and one Morgan Danny Watson were arrested in Little Rock, Arkansas. At the time of the arrest, the appellant and Watson were in a 1969 blue Ford pickup truck which belonged to Watson and which contained a large quantity of alleged marijuana they had transported from Texas.
