GEORGE W. Latimer, Judge:

The accused Patterson, who alone appeals, was tried jointly with another airman, Kerry D. Gilbreath, and found guilty under two specifications, one alleging simple assault and battery, and the other stating an assault with a dangerous weapon, both in violation of Article 128, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 50 USC § 722. He was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for one year, and partial forfeitures for a like period.
