A INTRODUCTION

The instant contested matter presents the issue of whether a Chapter 13 debtor may cure, in his Chapter 13 plan, a default in a nonresidential mortgage obligation which matured pre-petition. While recognizing that 11 U.S.C. § 1322(c)(2) is of no help to the Debtor, we also note that 11 U.S.C. § 1322(b)(2), which is the statutory basis of the contention that such a default cannot be cured, is inapplicable as well. We therefore adhere to our earlier decisions, prior to enactment of § 1322(c)(2), which hold that a cure of a debt which matured…
