Respondent, William J. Steidl, claiming a one-fourteenth interest in the estate of John Steidl, deceased, filed a petition for a decree determining interests in that estate. To this petition appellants filed their statement of claim of interest and this appeal is from a decree determining that appellants had no interest in the estate and were not entitled to participate in the distribution thereof.

The facts are as follows:
