The Bowermans resisted the replevin suit upon two grounds-: their first contention was that the Livestock Association did not have a sufficient title to the cattle to enable it to maintain the action. ' As a matter off fact the Livestock Association did not own -the cattle. ' The legal title to the cattle was- in R. M. Harriman, the president of ’ .the Livestock Association, and they were registered in his name.
