BARR, Judge:

Appellant was convicted by general court-martial, pursuant to his pleas of guilty, of possession and distribution of .91 grams of cocaine. The sentence, adjudged on 27 May 1983, extended to a bad conduct discharge, confinement at hard labor for one year, total forfeiture of all pay and allowances and reduction to pay grade E-l. During the trial, appellant was represented by a military detailed defense counsel, after specifically reciting his declination of the assistance of either civilian or* individual military counsel.
