Plaintiff Stillwell Theatre, Inc., maintains a motion picture theatre in Brooklyn. By contract with defendant Local 306 of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and Moving Picture Machine Operators Union, based on the principle of collective bargaining, plaintiff employed only members of that union as operators.
