In this Lanham Act case, appellant Charles Jacquin Et Cie, Inc. (“Jacquin”) alleged that Destilería Serralles, Inc. (“DSI”) and Crown Marketing International (“Crown”) infringed on its products’ trade dress in violation of 15 U.S.C. § 1125(a) and state common law. The district court directed a verdict in favor of DSI and Crown on Jacquin’s compensatory and punitive damages claim 730 F.Supp. 662.
