Buddy Kindle sued United Services Automobile Association, USAA County Mutual Insurance Company, and USAA Casualty Insurance Company (collectively referred to as USAA). The trial court granted USAA’s traditional and no evidence motions for summary judgment on March 8, 2011. In conjunction with his underlying appeal from the grant of the summary judgments against him, Kindle complains that the trial court abused its discretion by determining that he was not indigent, and thus, was not entitled to a free record.
