This is a suit for damages growing out of personal injuries received by plaintiff, Gerald Willis, when a Plymouth automobile which he was operating, was struck by an engine owned by defendant, Wabash Railroad Company, a Corporation, and being operated by defendant, Edward F. Murray, Wabash’s engineer. Plaintiff had a verdict in the amount of $15,000.00 but the court sustained the motion of defendants for judgment in accordance with defendants’ motion for directed verdict at the close of all the evidence, and, in the alternative, sustained defendants’ motion for a new…
