Based on the alleged inadequacy of the damages awarded, Jack R. Bates II appeals from a judgment of the Dallas Circuit Court (“the trial court”), entered on a jury’s verdict, awarding him $10,000 on his claim against Robert Riley, his co-employee, asserting that Riley willfully and intentionally removed of a safety device from a machine, which removal resulted in injuries to Bates.
