This action is brought by the plaintiff wife for a separation from the defendant, her husband, on the ground of the husband’s abandonment and failure to support plaintiff. The parties were married on November 12, 1929, in the State of Illinois. There is no issue of the marriage. The husband and wife came to New York on or about November 16, 1929, and remained here, at the home of defendant’s uncle, until about January 1, 1930, when they went to San Francisco, Cal.
