This declaratory judgment action arises out of a series of lawsuits brought against officers and directors of plaintiffs Piper Jaffray Companies, Inc., and its related subsidiaries (collectively, “Piper”). Through these many subsidiaries, Piper managed the investments of individuals and other entities.
