Leslie Elmore, Thomas Dabney and Francis Gilbert were jointly indicted by a grand jury in Mason county, at the November term, 1924, for robbery, while armed with a revolver, of Henry Seward of the sum of $325. At the previous February term the grand jury returned a separate indictment against John Lemons for the same robbery while armed with a revolver. At the same term Lemons pleaded guilty to plain robbery, “said plea not extending to and including the charge of being armed with a dangerous weapon.” He was sentenced to a term of not less than three nor more than twenty years in the…
