Price, Guard & Co. were a copartnership doing a stock brokerage business. Emile Meyer was a customer of the firm. Price, Guard & Co. went into voluntary bankruptcy on February 5, 1925, and on February 24 the plaintiff filed a proof of his Claim against the bankrupt estate in the sum of $54,000.
