An institution operated as a hospital under the name of Georgia Baptist Hospital occupied certain buildings and the land on which they were erected in the City of Atlanta, for the purpose of conducting a hospital including the conduct of a school for training nurses for employment in the hospital. The enterprise was under actual charge of the Executive Committee of the Baptist Convention of the State of Georgia, a corporation created by the act approved December 22, 1830 (Ga. L. 1830, p. 73).
