Ben F. Blanton Construction, Inc. (Blan-ton) appeals from the trial court’s setting aside of a default judgment against Castle Hill Holdings XI, L.L.C. (Castle Hill). Blanton contends the trial court erred in setting aside the default judgment because Castle Hill’s motion to set aside did not state facts constituting a meritorious defense as required by Rule 74.05(d). We reverse and remand 'with instructions.
