PETERS, District Judge.

The petitioner questions the validity of a warrant for his deportation as an alien in this country in violation of law, issued by the Commissioner of Immigration and approved by the Secretary of Labor, under which he has been arrested.

The writ of habeas corpus having issued and a hearing had, it appeared that the proceedings were regular and in conformity with Act Eeb. 5, 1917, § 19 (Comp. St. § 4289%jj), and that the arrest and deportation were authorized by law, provided there was any evidence to sustain the finding that the petitioner was in the country illegally.
