The sole issue presented in this appeal is whether the trial court, in granting defendants’ motion to dismiss, erred in finding a municipal ordinance unconstitutional.

It appears that plaintiff city of Chicago enacted a for-sale sign ban ordinance (ordinance) prohibiting any person from placing or maintaining “For Sale” or “Sold” signs in designated residential areas of the city.
