This is a negligence case, and the questions which we are required to consider arise upon four exceptions, reserved by the plaintiffs in the course of the trial. Three of these were to the rulings of the court on the admissibility of evidence, and the fourth to the action of the court at the close of the plaintiffs’ testimony in granting the defendant’s first prayer, which instructed the jury that there was no evidence in the case legally sufficient under the pleadings to entitle the plaintiffs to recover, -and that their verdict must be for the…
