Johnston, ex-sheriff of Cooke county, and the sureties on his official bond, to recover for the injury alleged to have been sustained by appellants by reason of Johnston’s failure to account for a stock of liquors which, it was alleged, had been seized and taken into possession by Johnston, as sheriff, under and by virtue of a writ of attachment, issued at the suit of appellants, against H.
