Acting on a tip, state police stopped a truck driven by the defendant as it entered Interstate 84 westbound in Danbury on March 10, 1979. Subsequent investigation revealed the truck, as well as two other vehicles located at the defendant’s residence, to be stolen. After pleading not guilty to an information charging three counts of second degree larceny by receiving and retaining stolen property, 1 the defendant was found guilty by a jury on all counts.
