BOOKHOUT, Associate Justice.

September 1, 1897, J. B. Watkins, T. H. Chalkley, and M. Snmmerfield, plaintiffs, filed their original petition against J. J. Robinson, Thomas H. Snow, George Clayton, and Esther Clayton, defendants, in which plaintiffs declared on a note for $600, and prayed for a foreclosure of a vendor’s lien on 160 acres of land.

Defendant George Clayton answered by general and special exceptions, general denial, plea of limitation, and plea of title in himself. Defendant Esther Clayton filed general demurrer and general denial.
