Presently at issue in this case is a subject that we have not previously addressed, i.e., computations of trustees’ commissions in a case under the Bankruptcy Code. This inquiry has led us to closely examine the pertinent Code provision, 11 U.S.C. § 326(a), for the first time. As a result, we conclude that our general approach to allowance of trustees’ commissions in the past, which was that we would allow the sums computed under the formula set forth under § 326(a) unless we had reason not to do so, was in error.
