SHEPARD, Chief Justice.

Appellant Paul C. Young was tried before a jury and convicted of one count of burglary, a class B felony, Ind.Code § 35-48-2-1 (Burns 1985 Repl.), three counts of theft, a class D felony, Ind.Code § 35-48-4-2 (Burns 1985 Repl.), and one count of resisting law enforcement, a class A misdemeanor, Ind.Code § 35-44-3-3(a)(8) (Burns 1985 Repl). The jury also found that Young was an habitual offender, Ind. Code § 35-50-2-8 (Burns 1985 Repl). The judge sentenced him to fifty years in prison for the burglary and entered concurrent presumptive sentences on the remaining counts.
