"Referring to the parties as they appeared in the trial court, plaintiff sued defendant, Director-General of Railroads, as agent, and also the St. Louis-San Francisco Railway Company, for personal injuries received by him in a train wreck on the corporation's line of railroad near Marshfield, Missouri, on September 17, 1918, while the line was under Federal control and operated by the Director-General of Railroads.
