Anthony Simpson appeals from the trial court’s judgment finding him guilty of voluntary manslaughter and armed criminal action after a jury trial. Simpson alleges that the trial court erred in denying- his motion for judgment of acquittal at the close of all the evidence. Simpson alleges there was insufficient evidence from which a reasonable jury could have found Simpson guilty of voluntary manslaughter in that a reasonable jury could not have found that Simpson acted under the influence of sudden passion arising from adequate cause.
