INMAN, Judge.

*123 Corey Donta Lee ("Defendant") appeals from a judgment following a jury verdict convicting him of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. On appeal, Defendant argues that the trial court erred by instructing the jury that he could not receive the benefit of self-defense if he were the aggressor. After careful review, we hold that Defendant has failed to demonstrate error.
