Joy Y. Miller (plaintiff) filed an action in the circuit court of Cook County against her employer, Motorola, Inc. (defendant), seeking recovery for damages resulting from defendant’s disclosure of her mastectomy surgery to plaintiff’s co-employees. Plaintiff appeals from the circuit court’s order dismissing her complaint with prejudice pursuant to section 2 — 615 of the Code of Civil Procedure (Ill. Rev.
