Pro se petitioner has filed two habeas petitions in this court (Civ. Action Nos. 02-7474 & 06-1437) and moves for my recusal from both cases under 28 U.S.C. § 455. In the body of his motion for recusal, petitioner also requests that — before re-cusing myself — I first vacate his May 9, 2006 guilty plea in state court, or in the alternative reduce his sentence under the terms of that plea agreement. 1 (Pet’r’s Mot. at 17, 20.)
