McCormick v. Terry
Supreme Court of Virginia
1Opinion of the CourtBurks, J.
*450This was a suit by a party claiming a crop lien against the purchaser of land at a judicial sale, to injoin him from collecting rents on the.land which accrued after his purchase and after he had obtained a deed and entered into possession. The testimony was in some respects conflicting, and the extracts from the record of the suit in which the sale was made were not as full as could be desired, but the two together are sufficient to disclose the merits of the controversy. The trial court decided the controversy in favor of the crop lienor, and perpetuated the injunction.
