SULLIVAN, Judge.
| t John S. Davis appeals the dismissal of his personal injury action against American Legion Hospital (“the Hospital”) on summary judgment. For the following reasons, we affirm.
Factual and Procedural Background
Mr. Davis filed suit against the Hospital, alleging that he injured himself on the evening of September 10, 2002, when he fell after stepping off a sidewalk near the emergency room entrance.
