Plaintiff, dependent mother of George Barnes, Jr., who at the time of his death on July 26, 1940, was employed by the Wilson Supply Company, a dealer in oil field equipment and supplies, filed this suit for compensation against his employer and its insurer. Defendants admitted the accident and employment, but denied that plaintiff's son was acting in the scope and course of his employment at the time of the fatal accident.
