{¶ 1} Plaintiff-appellant, Carder Buick-Olds (“Carder”) is an automobile dealership located in Searcy, Arkansas. From 1980 to 1990, Carder used a computer system purchased from Reynolds & Reynolds (“Reynolds”). In 1990, Carder replaced this system with one from Convergent Dealership Systems. At the time Carder purchased the Convergent system, it signed a sales and license agreement that included a contract for maintenance and support of the system.
