In a foreclosure suit brought by the Bank Josephine against Roadrunner Mining, Engineering and Development Company, Inc., Gwynne W. Ford, Mary Auxier Hale, and William W. Clevenger on five promissory notes the Pike Circuit Court entered a default judgment aggregating $271,877.89.1 *598Having failed in their efforts to have this judgment set aside, the defendants appealed to the Court of Appeals, which affirmed the judgment.
