This case involves a dispute between family members over a life insurance pay*320ment. José Alvarez Quiñones (“Alvarez”) and Barbara Arbonis Ramos (“Arbonis”) (collectively, “Plaintiffs”) brought this suit against Gilberto Luis Sepúlveda Perez (“Sepúlveda”) and Prudential Life Insurance Company1 (“Prudential”) (collectively, “Defendants”) in state court.
