Following a bench trial, defendant was found guilty of possessing child pornography. 720 ILCS 5/11 — 20.1(a)(6) (West 2006). On July 6, 2007, the trial court considered defendant’s motion for a new trial and rejected his claim that it erred in denying his motion for directed verdict.
